Event Rules

 

 

Your cooperation in adhering to the following is appreciated;

 

·        All participants must register.

·        No vehicles in camp from 9:00 AM Saturday until 4:30 PM Sunday. All vehicles must be parked in the designated “REENACTORS PARKING” lot. Do not park in Museum’s main parking lot during spectator visiting hours.

·        Tents may be set up only in company streets as directed by camp coordinator or his designee.

·        Camp areas must be clean and authentic looking at all times.

·        All modern anachronisms (coolers, sleeping bags, cans, etc.) must be covered during visitor hours (9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.).

·        All Company officers will be responsible for their units' actions.

·        Fire pits should be free of trash, such as bottles, cans, and other item’s that will not burn.  All trash should be picked up and placed in the trash dumpster.

·        Fire pits should have a full water bucket for extinguishments.

·        No firearms are to be fired, and all unnecessary noise is to be held at a minimum between 11:00pm and 6:00am.  Camp will be quiet at and after 11:00pm.

·        Use of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs is prohibited.

·         All participants must be authentic in appearance (i.e. period eyewear, shoes, etc.).

·         Weapons must be historically correct for the time period and unit. No shotguns!

·         Discharging weapons is allowed only during authorized periods and in designated areas. There will be periods when we will hold firing demonstrations, please inquire first.

·        Weapons check and safety inspection is required before the battle.  No one will be allowed in the battle scenario with out being inspected for safety.

·        All battle participants must have a full canteen on their possession.

·        No cartridges larger than 65 grains.

·        We encourage all participants (reenactor personal) to welcome visitors into their camp.  Let us not forget that we are here for them.

·        Please note that certain activities and rules may be changed due to special circumstances.

·        All horses must have up to date paperwork showing latest Coggins Test.
